The
ITA Tunnelling Awards 2016: The list of finalists disclosed
Lausanne, 25th of July, 2016.- On November
10th and 11th 2016, the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association
is presenting the second edition of its ITA Tunnelling Awards. This international
competition recognizes and rewards the most ground-breaking achievements and
innovations in underground infrastructure worldwide.
Following a very successful 2015
edition, participation has been highly competitive this year, with 98 entries
from 25 countries competing for awards in nine categories. The 17-strong expert
judging panel, chaired by the ITA President Tarcisio Celestino, concluded the review
of entries last week. Based on their detailed evaluation, 33 entries have been
selected as finalists and will
participate in the second evaluation stage to determine winners.

The ITA
Tunnelling Awards in Singapore:
In addition to the November 11th
one-day ITA Tunnelling Awards Conference and Banquet Dinner, organized by the
ITA , during which the awards will be presented, a one-day Symposium on
underground development and technology, featuring 8 outstanding keynote
lectures, is organized on November 10th by the Tunnelling and Underground Construction
Society, Singapore (TUCSS).
At the crossroads of technology and
sustainability, this symposium will focus on reinventing urban planning,
anticipating urban expansion and building cities of the future through
combining mechanization and renewable resources. These lectures will provide a
unique forum to discover, share and learn about state-of-the-art developments
and latest initiatives from all over the world.
The symposium, conference, and
banquet, will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Conference Centre.

Underground Space Association:
The International Tunnelling and
Underground Space Association (ITA) is a non -profit and nongovernmental international
organization, which promotes the use of underground space for a solution to sustainable
development. Founded in 1974 and operating out of Lausanne, Switzerland, ITA

Los
Premios de perforación de túneles ITA 2016: Se dará a conocer la lista de
finalistas
Lausana, 25 de julio de 2016.- El 10
de noviembre y 11 de 2016, la Asociación Internacional de Túneles y Espacios
Subterráneos presenta la segunda edición de sus Premios de perforación de
túneles en el ATI. Esta competencia internacional reconoce y premia los logros
más revolucionarios e innovaciones en infraestructura subterránea en todo el
mundo.
Después de una muy exitosa edición de
2015, la participación ha sido muy competitiva este año, con 98 entradas de 25
países que compiten por premios en nueve categorías.
El panel 17 –experto panel de jueces--,
presidido por el Presidente ITA Tarcisio Celestino, concluyó la revisión de las
entradas de la semana pasada. Sobre la base de su evaluación detallada, 33
entradas han sido seleccionadas como finalistas y participará en la segunda
etapa de evaluación para determinar los ganadores.

perforación de túneles ITA en Singapur:
En la Conferencia Premios de Túneles
ITA con banquete, se presentarán los participantes premiados y un simposio

en circulación, organizada en el 10 de noviembre por la Sociedad de
construcción de Túneles y espacio subterráneo Singapur (TUCSS).
